'De Nachtwacht’ The Night Watch (Dutch: De Nachtwacht), is a 1642 painting by Rembrandt van Rijn. It is prominently displayed in the Rijksmuseum. The Night Watch is one of the most famous and best-known Dutch Golden Age paintings.
